Poetry Train Monday

Okay, not a finished work. Something I'm working on for a project. Thought I throw it out there.

A little bit you
A little bit me
A little bit love
A little bit we

A little bit time
A little bit place
A little bit us
A little bit space

Like a river we will run
Like a song we will be sung
Like a bell that must be rung
Like a morning in the sun

A kiss on my lips
A touch on my cheek
A sigh in my ear
I hope it’s for keeps

A little bit you
A little bit me
A little bit love
A little bit we

A little bit time
A little bit place
A little bit us
A little bit space

i like that RJ! Is it going to be a song? Seems very lyrical... I can almost hear the music.
(hips swaying before i trip and fall on my ass.)

You caught me. Actaully, I'm working on order (these are just a bunch of lines) and verse. I have one and have two ideas for chorus up there. It will go in a book.

Subtle and sweet lullabypoem. Cool.

I definitely heard music in my head. Loved these lines best:

"Like a river we will run
Like a song we will be sung"

Everyone's being kind but I'll take it! I'll update it here as I change it cause it's far from done. Thanks.
